MLP:FiM Original Character Concept

Here's the colored version of my MLP: FiM character concept. Still unnamed as of now, but reassured, she will have one. So far, I like her color scheme, but I'm still not completely sold on her mane and cutie mark. Like I said, changes will come.

WIP - Fan character MLP:FIM

Very rarely will I be creating fan characters, but this time I thought it would I do so just for fun plus experimenting with Photoshop a bit more in terms of a new style of inking and digital coloring. Here's just a quick work-in-progress image of my fan character for MLP: FiM in all her glory, so to speak. My concept with her is that she's a traveling researcher, who's main focus is on the animals of Equestria most ponies don't know too much about. I have yet to decide on a name for her, but I do have a small comic story in mind for her in the future.
About her design, yes, I know she looks vaguely Lauren Faust ponysona-ish, but this is just the first concept of her. Some things will bound to change with time. In the meantime, enjoy this little piece. Finished art should be up by the end of the week.

Principles of Screen Design - Self Portrait Key Frames

Thought I show these off for the sake of it. These panel illustrations were part of an assignment for Principles of Screen Design. Essentially, the assignment was to create 6 to 10 keyframes for our final animation project, which is our self portrait piece reflecting ourselves. The blue leaf is meant as a representation of myself and the other leaves are of the things I love and enjoy. Needless to say, the actual animation was unfinished due to the time consuming nature of my eight comic for Vis 2. Will I upload it at some point? Maybe since I have plans to redo it in my own time and program. But until then, hope you enjoy concept frames.

Visual Storytelling II - "Winter Hunt"

Spring Break is here and my next classes won't begin for a couple of weeks, time to post some of the work I've done. For my major assignment for Visual Storytelling II, it's an eight comic with a complete story. I'm pleased with the end result, though as usual, I can always do better. Here's the colored version of my eight pager. Hope to post more soon.
